He was predeceased by: his parents, J. L. Ivey and Sue Cox Ivey. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Clemmer Ivey; his daughters, Susan Johnston (Steve), Lisa Godwin (Rodney) and Diane Gregg; his grandchildren, Dr. Kristin Reed (Paul), Kirk Johnston (Andrea), Andrew Godwin (Susanne Tarovella), Brian Godwin (Paula), Russell Gregg (Carla Schmidt) and Travis Gregg (Becka Endicott); and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Isaiah, Stephen Johnston and Samuel Godwin.
