He was predeceased by: his parents, John Irvin Sawyer and Florence Schaefer Sawyer; and his brother John Sawyer. He is survived by: his wife Christine Ray Eckert Sawyer; his son Sean Christopher Sawyer; and his granddaughter Colie Ray Sawyer.
