He was predeceased by: his parents, Sally Mae and Joseph B. Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Rosie (Rosie) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida.; his children, Elizabeth Johnston Jones (Mike), Bobby Johnston, Margaret Johnston Strickler and Frank Somer (Lizette); and his grandchildren, Rachel Strickler Lyons (Jason), Matthew Jones (Jeanette), Ryan Jones, Jimmy Strickler (Norma) and Katie Somer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
