She was predeceased by: her parents, William Darnell and Mary Darnell; and her husband W. M. "Sleepy" Thornburg. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Longworth (Ricky), Jeff Thornburg (Brenda), Peggy Thornburg, Vickey Pittman (Keith) and Lissa Morrison (Scott); and her sister Betty Jean Collins. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
