She was predeceased by: her husband Earl L. Cox; and her siblings, Lucy Ledbetter, Jean Ledbetter Sheldon, George, William Delano and Ernest Kenneth Ledbetter.
She is survived by: her son David Cox (Melissa); her grandsons, Joshua Cox and Preston Cox (Alexa); and her brother Melvin Wayne Ledbetter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harmony Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bacon-Kincheloe Cemetery (926 Painter Rd, Jonesborough, TN 37659).
