He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Dykes; his parents, Ted Dykes and Ressie Dykes; and his brothers, Claude, Harold, Sammy and J. B. Dykes.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Robbins (Greg) and Sam Dykes (Sherry); his stepdaughter Jody Vaughn (Jeff); his grandchildren, Morgan Robbins, Kasey Ward (Kirk), Katie Gardner (Josh), Chelsea Cannon (Caine), Lindsey Vaughn and Zachary Vaughn; and his brother Jerry Dykes (Ana). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
