With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernie Cole Jones (Fairview, Tennessee), born in Charleston, Mississippi, who passed away on July 9, 2018 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandson Jesse Jones. She is survived by: her brother Avery M. Jones, Sr.; her children, Nita Goodman (Tim), Queta Jones and Bo Jones (Jenny); her grandchildren, Brian Ross, Levi Jones, Kate Jones, Danielle Goodman Matthew Shuttleworth and Mitchell Shuttleworth; her siblings, Jane Knighten, Mary Morgan, Faye Starnes, Larry Cole (Dot), Terry Cole (Jamie) and Robert Cole (Judy); and also Danny Thomas Place.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the St Jude's Children Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105, or to the Heart Failure Society of America 9211 Cooperate Blvd., Suite 270, Rockville, MD 20850 in Mrs. Jones memory.
