She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennie Manus Merritt and Presley Columbus Merritt; her husband Joseph Lee Bishop; and her siblings, Brownie Lee Pruitt, Bonnie Graham, Gracie Mai Jones, Pauline Welch and Ernest Edward Merritt.
She is survived by: her caregivers, Ernest Lee and Stacy Merritt; her nieces and nephews, Mike Welch, Aaron, Elizabeth, Sarah, Samantha, Anne, Jennie, Joy and Paisley Lynn Christine Merritt; and also Lisa Sullivan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
