He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Inez Walton Spann; his children, Patrick Lynn Spann (Stacey) of Murfreesboro, TN and Peggy Spann Williams of Ringgold, GA; his brother Bobby Spann; his grandchildren, Cynthia "Cindy" Ward, Victoria "Vicky" Pinn, Lexie Spann and Todd Souza; and his great grandchild Kiya Ward of Jayden Ward. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
