She was predeceased by: her parents, Presley Columbus Merritt and Jennie Manus Merritt; her son Glen Allen; and her siblings, Brownie Merritt Pruitt, Gracie Merritt, Pauline Merritt Welch and Edward Merritt.
She is survived by: her sister Christine Merritt Bishop; and her children, Jerry Lee, Paulette Graham Green, Linda Graham Crawford and Julie Graham Foxworth. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
