It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettie Katherine Hughes of Fairview, Tennessee, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Buttrey and Ruth Buttrey (Cunningham); her brother Gary Buttrey; and her nephews, Tim and Kevin Huckaby.

She is survived by: her children, Renee Claiborne (Petey) and Marlin Hughes of Fairview, TN.; and her sisters, Stella Nash (Garner) of Fairview, TN., Barbara Vaughn (Paul) of Marion, KY. and Reta Nash (Loyd) of Dickson, TN.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
