He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Walker Morgan; his daughter Nikki Morgan; his parents, Harris Dee, Sr. and Beulah Lillian Dannel Morgan; his brothers, Ralph Morgan and Harris Dee "Shorty" Morgan, Jr.; his daughter LaSchelle Riggs (Tim); his grandchildren, Byron McVay, Desiree McVay, Lauren Hale and Mandi Revis (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Zachery Hardin and Laiken Hale; his siblings, Larry Morgan (Brenda), Imogene Rigsby and Gereldine Frazier (Horace); and his friends, Robert and Dean Swafford.
