He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Puett and Blanche Puett; his brother Doyle Puett; his grandson Dawson Lairmore; and his in-laws, Bernard and Helen Lipps.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Trotter Puett; his daughters, Wendy (Lloyd Jones), Shelly (Joe Lairmore) and Mandy Puett; his grandchildren, Dalten and Claudia Lairmore; his brother Danny; his sister-in-law Zelma Puett; his sister Neta Puett; his siblings-in-law, Gayle Puett and Alvin Lipps; and his niece Scarlet Poteet.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bordwine Funeral Home (203 Ohio Ave, Etowah, TN 37331). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Coghill Cemetery.
