He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hooper and Imogene Black Hooper; his wife Laura Hooper; his son Jeffrey Dan Hooper; and his brother Eddie Hooper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tonya Presswood (Freddy) of Manchester, TN and Candace Hooper; his siblings, Gail Sledge (Arnold) and Mike Hooper (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Danielle Presswood, Katie Widener (Casey), Jacob Hooper (Kassidi) and Aaron Haney. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation Center (300 TN-33, Etowah, TN 37331). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
