Ronald McPhail Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2025, at the age of 80, Ronald McPhail of Etowah, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ronald leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Ronald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Cooper and Naomi Hughes McPhail. He is survived by: his wife Jo McPhail; his sons, Keith McPhail of Athens, TN and Jeff McPhail (Paige McPhail) of Dacula, GA; and his grandson Reece McPhail of Dacula, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home (521 N Jackson St, Athens, TN 37303). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
