He was predeceased by: his father Michael Raymond Poteet; his grandparents, Floyd Leon and Bobbie Jean Newman; and his nephew Briar Morgan. He is survived by: his wife Scarlet Poteet; his son Christopher (Tier Pruett); his mother Deborah Lynn Christy; his sister Jeana; his brother-in-law Joe Louis Moffett II; his grandchildren, Eli, Nasin Morgan, Jonah Lee Pruitt and Beau Pruitt; his nephew Dusty Savage; his stepmother Diane Poteet; and his stepbrothers, Keith and Brian Tuck.
