He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover McCrary and Ruth McCrary (Purdy); his stepmother Johnnie McCrary; his brother Freddie Gaston McCrary; and his grandson Michael Miller.
He is survived by: his family Jim; his wife Linda McCrary (Moore); his children, Mike (Elsie McCrary), Brian (Amy Moore), Shaun (Marni McCrary), Kelly Williamson, Sunday Lambert and Judy (John Kennedy); his sister-in-law Thomas (Tina McCrary); and his sister Delores Stafford. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; brother.
