He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren Stuart and Ellie Stuart; and his brother Ernie Stuart. He is survived by: his wife Bernice Stuart; his children, Randy Stuart and Sharon Gates; his son-in-law Michael Gates; his grandchildren, Misty Earwood "Stacy", Rachael Gates, Jeremiah, Jordan, Andrew Stuart, Samantha and Erika; and his sisters, Florine Hammons, Josephine Lowe and June Aldridge "Tom". He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
