She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Myrtle Swartout Jenkins; and her siblings, Gene Jenkins, Glenn E. Jenkins and Joyce Jenkins Lanning.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Ode Lanning; her son Travis; her daughter-in-law Brenda Lanning; her daughter Danielle Lanning; her grandchildren, Roarke Lanning, Ainsley Lanning, Mayzie Torbett (Jacobi Key) and Sayge Torbett; her great grandchild Judah Key; her siblings, Albert Jenkins, Larry Jenkins, Robert Jenkins, Danny (Diane Jenkins) and Kathy; and her brother-in-law Jimmy Mincey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the youth fund at Brook Hill Baptist Church, 1305 Scott Ave, Etowah, TN 37331.
