She was predeceased by: her husband William Carl Hamby; her parents, Ernest Triplett and Emma Seay Triplett; and her siblings, Lillian Higdon, Kathleen Morgan, Bobbie Coleman, Lorene Martin, Sue Pritchard, Buster Triplett and Tom Triplett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol (Dale Key) and Janet (Jody Boggess); her granddaughters, Carrie (Nathan Brackett), Melissa (Josh Blair) and Kristin (Burnie Burnsed); her great grandchildren, Piper Brackett, Jamison Blair, Kimber Brackett, Braden Blair, Paisley Burnsed and Madilynn Blair; her siblings, Leona Haney, Nina Reynolds and Darrell Triplett; and her close friend Teresa Sliger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home (203 Ohio Ave, Etowah, TN 37331). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Conasauga Cemetery.
