He is survived by: his wife Linda Johns Orton; his children, Michael Orton (Debbie) of Lawrenceburg, Saundra Orton of LaGrange, GA and Kim Byars (Bill) of Carrollton, GA; his stepchildren, Melissa Oglesby (Gary) of Toney, AL and Randy Southall (Kelly) of Lawrenceburg; his siblings, Louise Martin of Lawrenceburg, Nell Jones of Marietta, GA, Dr. Joel Orton of Pulaski and Rual Orton of Lawrenceburg; his grandchildren, Maleah Orton of LaGrange, GA, Kera Krolikowski (Libby) of LaGrange, GA, Kandice Bentley of LaGrange, GA, Kyle Orton of LaGrange, GA, Miles Byars of Carrollton, GA. and Jada Byars of Carrollton, GA.; and his stepgrandchildren, Hunter Freemont (Julia) of Goodlettsville, Kara Johnson (Brandon) of Loretto and Kelsy Harrell (David) of Havelock, NC. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
