It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Phillip Sharp of Ethridge, Tennessee, born in Waterloo, Alabama, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Faires and Pearl Bell Balentine Sharp; his brother Lawrence Sharp; and his grandson Andy Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Bonner Sharp of Ethridge, TN; his daughters, Ginger Sharp Stutts (Bill) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Angie Sharp Ezell (John) of Ethridge, TN and Allie Sharp Schwalb of Brentwood, TN; his siblings, Jo Carolyn Hudson of Ethridge, TN and Ben Sharp of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Chase Adkins (Jordan) of Ethridge, TN, Matthew Adkins of Lawrenceburg, TN, Balee Schwalb of Austin, TX, Libby Schwalb of Franklin, TN, Victoria O'Hara of Clarksville, TN, Nellie Kate Ezell of Lawrenceburg, TN and Jackson Ezell of Chattanooga, TN; and his caregiver Enos Mast.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Ethridge Church of Christ Building Fund.
