He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Monroe Mobbs and Bessie Hipp Mobbs; and his siblings, Major Mobbs, Leon Mobbs, Lorenzo Mobbs, Glen Mobbs, Neal Mobbs, Harry Beamon Mobbs, Wayne Mobbs, Naoma Woodcock, Frances Bimstein, Lorene Mattox and Baby.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Cargo Mobbs of Ethridge, TN; his daughter Vivian Mobbs Moreland of Salem, OR; his granddaughters, Samantha Moreland of Corvallis, OR and Michelle Moreland of Eugene, OR; and his sister Ruth McDonald of Lewisburg, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg Mission Fund or Caris Hospice.
