He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Douglas Paul and Betty Sue Arnold Grogan; his sons, Tyler Wade Paul and Preston Steven Paul; and his siblings, Tony Paul, Dwayne Ferrell, Kim Ambrose and Pam Pilkington.

He is survived by: his close friend Angela Stills; his daughters, Ashlee Paul and Kaylee Grace Roberts; his sisters, Sandy Kay Hardison and Regina Johnson Barron; and his grandchildren, Kamryn Lee Maxwell and Salem Marie Paul.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Feldhaus Memorial Chapel (2022 N Main St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
