Mildred Lumpkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2025, at the age of 98, Mildred Lumpkins of Estill Springs, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hudson and Hattie Hudson; her husband Floyd Lumpkins; and her sons-in-law, Jim Holland and Mike Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Janis Rose (Mike) of Estill Springs, Neal Lumpkins (Regina) of Hartselle, AL and Laura Preston (Art) of Murfreesboro, TN.; her grandchildren, Bryan Lumpkins (Eraina), Amy Banks (Joe), Troy Rose, Ashley Hill (JB), Andrew Rose (Erica), Andrea Rizk (Jean Claude), Kelli Hollandsworth (Cory) and Taylor Worley (Jacob); and her great grandchildren, Alex Rizk, Gavin Lumpkins, Joshua Rizk, Trae Banks, Abram Banks, Brayden Rose and Ian Lumpkins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
