With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Grady Cope of Estill Springs, Tennessee, born in Smithville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2024 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hastle Cope and Myrtle Cantrell Cope; his sons, Tim and Barry Cope; his stepson Bret Cates; and his sisters, Betty Jones and Maxine Briggs.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Kay Cope of Estill Springs; his children, Melinda Blocker (Chris) of Smithville, Kayla Cope of Estill Springs and Bart Cates (Tina) of Hendersonville; and his sister Gloria Webb of Smithville.
