He is survived by: his siblings, Sara Ann Stephens (Allin), Gloria Catherine Rackley, Charles Randall Sample (Genny), Thomas Darrell Sample (Nancy), Rebecca Rhea Carr and Tracy Lee Sample; and his children, Brandon Sample and Holly Sample Jensen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
