He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bill "J. B." Miller and Roxie Helton Miller; and his siblings, James Miller, Dewey Miller, Stella Broyles, Nora Miller, Rosie Johnson, Joseph Miller and Ann Tolley.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Masters Miller; his children, Jonathan Miller (Connie) of Greeneville, SC, Danny Miller (Amanda) of Pickens, SC and Melisa Rider (Bob) of Radisson, WI; and his brother Bobby Miller. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
