It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Bruce Thompson Jr. (Erwin, Tennessee), born in Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Thompson and Josephine Yeiser Thompson; his siblings, Charles J. Thompson and Lena Jo Gardner; and his pet Maverick.
He is survived by: his friends, William Bruce Thompson, Jr., Jesus and Larry; his grandchildren, Bria, Paula, Weylyn Malone and Magdalena Malone; his brother-in-law Jack Gardner; his children, Carol Grace, Mary Jo, Sally Ann and Andy; and his close friends, Gary Jones, Don Moore, Mark Treadway and Isabel Limoges.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's or Shriners.
