He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Roe" and Loris Clouse Bowman; his brother Willis P. Bowman (Geraldine Downey Bowman); and his parents-in-law, Paul and Marion Ledford.
He is survived by: his children, Richard P. Bowman of Fort Pierce, FL and Angela L. Kobelin (Joel); and his grandson James Bowman. He is also survived by four stepchildren and their children and grandchildren.
