It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Ann Johnson of Erwin, Tennessee, born in Roan Mountain, Tennessee, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Burton and Lucy Jane Johnson (Lewis); her siblings, Florence Huskins, Cleo Johnson, Vennie Renfro and Jackie Johnson; and her grandson Wesley Armstrong.

She is survived by: her children, Terri Hendrix (Steve) and Michael Johnson; her grandchildren, Stephen Hendrix, II (Valerie), Amanda Howell (Tad), Jessica Armstrong (David) and Charity Reeves (John); her great grandchildren, Hailey Hendrix, Brooklyn Hendrix, Amelia Howell, Aiden Howell, Lucy Reeves, Charlie Reeves, Sebastian Armstrong, Kelsi Armstrong, Elijah Armstrong, Mimi Armstrong, Very and Connie Pate; and her siblings, Mary Rose Jones, Wanda Price Williams, Ruby Mosely and Arnold Johnson. She is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with Unicoi County's Mask Mandate, we respectfully request that all who attend services wear a mask or face covering and observe all social distancing guidelines.
