She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor Buchanan and Lassie Miller Buchanan; her father-in-law Reverend Vanas Foster; and her sister-in-law Madalyn Foster. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Dean Foster; her daughter Diana Willis (Steve); her granddaughter Madison Mikala Willis of Unicoi; her siblings, Howard Buchanan (Louise), Vadith Blankenship (Phil), Jean May (Dennis) and Betty Anglin (Martin); and her brothers-in-law, Pierson Foster of Erwin and Dale Foster (Kathy) of Erwin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
