He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Francis and Agnes Roseman Breen; his daughter Lila Gene Theberge; and his siblings, Eugene "Sonny" F. Breen and Jeannine A. Rees.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Wallace Breen; his sisters, Kathy Walker of Bluefield, WV and Judith Rolan (Bob) of Bluefield, WV; his sons, Michael T. Breen (Susan) of Homestead, FL and David D. Breen of Bluefield, WV; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jennings (Melvin) of Greenbrier, AR and Geri Miller (Armon) of Minneapolis, MN.
