It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Shelton of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Shelton and Marie Shelton (Peake); and his brother Daryl Lynn Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Shelton (Proctor); his children, Ivory Janeé Shelton, MD and William Troy Shelton; his siblings, Richard Shelton (Lisa Shelton) and Carolyn Brackins (Bruce Brackins); his nieces and nephews, Kylee Shelton Holt (Steven Holt), TJ Brackins (Christie Hayes-Brackins) and Justin Brackins (Lindsey Brackins); his great-nieces, Abigail, Avery and Zoey; his friend Marvin Greene; and his pet Pebbles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Doc's name to the Unicoi County Animal Shelter, 185 N. Industrial Drive, Erwin, TN 37650.
