We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2025, at the age of 74, Robert Bailey of Erwin, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Robert leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Riley and Alda Wilson Bailey; and his brother Merrill Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Linda Carver Bailey; his sons, Stacey Bailey (Theresa) and Brian Bailey; his grandson William Robert Bailey; and his sisters, Donna English (Harvey) and Janice English.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at the Shook Cemetery.
