He was predeceased by: his parent Roscoe Beals; his son Richard "Teddy" Beals, Jr.; and his siblings, Linda Beals, Charles Beals and Roscoe Beals, Jr..
He is survived by: his parent Martha Lee Beals (Forbes); his wife Janie Lee Beals (Tittle); his son Brandon Beals; his stepson Jamie Brooks; and his sisters, Debra Hensley of Lisa Hensley, Beloved, Shih Tzu, Zoey and Several. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
