She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James David "Jim" and Eloise LaFollette (Arwood); her husband Tony Curtis Keplinger; her sons, T. J. Keplinger (Julie) and Thomas Keplinger (Whitney); her grandchildren, Lucas Keplinger, Rachel Keplinger, Jase Keplinger and Jenna Keplinger; her siblings, Angela Henson and Neal LaFollette (Teresa); and her nieces and nephews, Tony LaFollette (Renee), Christy Barr (Joe), Amanda Honeycutt, Eric LaFollette (Jessica) and Lori LaFollette.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Valley Funeral Home, 1085 N Main Ave., Erwin, TN 37650 to help with Pennie's final expenses.
