It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Story Burgner of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on May 27, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Lionel, Lucy Story, Robert and Johnnie Parks. She is survived by: her parents, David Story and Nell Story; her husband Hank Burgner; her children, Jessica Ridley (Micah) of Erwin, TN, Jared Burgner (Sarah) of Jonesborough, TN and Abigail Burgner of Erwin, TN.; her granddaughter Caroline Jillianne Ridley; her parents-in-law, David and Jane Burgner of Erwin, TN; and her sisters-in-law, Tommie Richardson and Elizabeth Thompson. She is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
