She was predeceased by: her parents, Glavis A. Powers and Chloe Bailey Powers; her husband Gary Damon Harris; and her siblings, Noel A. Powers, Gerald Powers, Eleanor Powers Cash, Jan Corn Deaton and Teresa Renee Powers.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Tipton (John) of Erwin, Joel Harris (Toni) of Johnson City and Kerry Casteel (William) of Erwin; her grandchildren, Annie Harris of Erwin, Seth Honeycutt of Erwin and Damon Harris of Erwin; her great grandchildren, Madison Runyon and Gracie Runyon; her siblings, David Powers (Bianca) of Oak Park, IL, Etta Norton of Bluefield, WV, Mary Kay Broyles (Elden) of Erwin and Rebecca Sayer (Darrell) of Erwin; her brothers-in-law, James Harris (Paula) and Wesley Harris (Mary); and her pet Miso. She is also survived by pups; several nieces and nephews.
