It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Lynn Hensley Woodruff (Erwin, Tennessee), born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on October 26, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Harold Woodruff; her son David Alan Woodruff; and her siblings, Sula Jane Inklebarger and Carl "Lefty" Hensley. She is survived by: her parent Frankie Woodruff; her daughters, Robin Woodruff Harrill (Steve) of Salisbury, NC, Terri Woodruff of Columbia, SC and Jane Frances Woodruff Thompson (Todd) of Advance, NC; her daughter-in-law Deborah Ann Goodman Woodruff of Denver, NC; her grandsons, Nathan Thomas Harrill and Jonathan David Connolly; and her great grandchildren, Caroline Jane Harrill and Ryan Michael Connolly. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requests that all COVID-19 protocols be practiced.
