She was predeceased by: her parents, James Engle and Louise Edwards Engle; her husband John Cousins; her son Johnny Cousins; her son-in-law Garrison Williams; and her siblings, George, Carl Engle, Helen McCurry, Edna Grimes and Flo Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Cousins (Diana) of Erwin, Cathy Williams of Erwin and Kim Edwards (Todd) of Erwin; her close friend Arlene Harris; and her caregivers, Cheri, Robin, Kylie, Tara, Cara, Christy, Nancy, Julie and Wanda. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
