She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie B. Higgins and Edith Higgins (Mattingly); her children, Cleaon Price and Jerry Lynn Price; her husband Estil "Hoot" Tipton; her brothers, Charlie H. Higgins, Jimmy D. Higgins, Roger D. Higgins, Carroll G. Higgins and Richard K. Higgins; and her stepgrandson C. J. Light.
She is survived by: her children, Mitchell Price (DeeDee) and Joan Robinett (Andy Jones); her grandchildren, Daniel Robinett (Anna Lakett) and LeAnne Miller (Chevis); her great grandchildren, Kaisley, Arthur and Jack Miller; her stepgranddaughter Elisha Light; and her sisters, Ada Sanders, Judy Ann Sparks, Sandra Starnes and Linda Waddle (Bob).
