She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde White and Dorothy Bailey White; her husband Gerald Powers; her siblings, Leonard White, Lola White Akers and Lelia White Parsons; and her nephew Richard Parsons.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Etta Norton, Mary Kay Broyles, Myra Harris, Rebecca Sayer and David Powers; her nieces, Barbara Green and Jeannine Cheshire; her nephew Leonard Parsons; and her close friend Carol Bowman.
