He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl R. Love and Harriet Wilson Love; his siblings, Marion Hope Love and Maurice R. Love; his daughters, Debbie L. Love and Donna L. Kelly; and his great grandchild Jasmine Garland.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Fay Love (Feathers); his children, Tony Ray Love and Penny Hicks (Robert); his grandchildren, Allison Effler, Misty Love, Shannon Barrett, Eddie Garland (Rachel Glass) and Jarrod Hicks; his great grandchildren, Shelby Barrett, Allen Hicks, Luke Hicks, Briar Hicks, Ethan Garland, Miranda Garland and Raven Garland; and his nephews, Marty Love (Laura) and Gary Love.
