He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edwards and Lena Day Edwards; his wife Leona; his siblings, Johnny Eugene Edwards of Massachusetts and Lisa Jill Slemmons; his siblings-in-law, Talmadge Higgins and JoAnn Edwards; and his nephew Terry Lee Edwards.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Lee Edwards; his siblings, Terry Edwards of Erwin, Gary Edwards (Dee) of Erwin, Charles Edwards (Sherree) of Erwin, Martha Peters (Dennis) of Erwin and Loretta "Suzy" Higgins (Roger) of Soddy Daisy; his siblings-in-law, Florence Edwards of Massachusetts and Tony Slemons of Erwin; and his aunt Lois Edwards of Michigan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Et Erwin Pentecostal Holiness Church (1600 N Main Ave, Erwin, TN 37650). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Et Fishery Community Church Cemetery (501 Fishery Community Church Rd, Erwin, TN 37650).
