It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karl Raymond Thomas of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on July 1, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, G. H. "Red" Thomas and Mildred Thomas (Watkins); his son Karl Randel "Randy" Thomas; his siblings, Elizabeth Treadway, Hazel Anderson, Margie Erwin Thomas, Hunter Thomas, Hamilton Thomas and James Thomas; and his siblings-in-law, Novella Peterson and Jim Lingerfelt.
He is survived by: his wife Imogene Thomas (Lingerfelt); his son Richard K. Thomas; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Lingerfelt (Shirley), Grady Lingerfelt (Sandy), Charlene Griffith (Clyde), Phyllis Coffey (Lawrence), Marilyn Ayers (Bob) and Shirley Lingerfelt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
