It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jo Ann Starnes of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on June 1, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Martin and Clara Adkins (Rose); her son Troy Cecil "Rusty" Starnes, Jr.; her granddaughter Lori Ann Starnes; and her siblings, Bob Adkins, Charlene Guss and Doris Deihl.

She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Lewis (Kenneth) and Judy Gail Bennett (Keith); her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Starnes; her grandchildren, Joanna Leigh Haun (Randy), Chad Bennett (Cheryl), Timothy Wayne Lewis (Dee), Bonnie Starnes Natalie Starnes, Ashley Starnes, Daisy Carathers (Jacob), Rusty Noah Starnes and Katie Edwards (Rusty); her great grandchildren, Jake Haun Megan Haun, Carter Edwards and Derrick Edwards; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Haley Deery. She is also survived by 5 Great Great-grandchildren.
