He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Oaks and Willa Jean Henson Oaks; and his brothers, Sammy and Roger Oaks. He is survived by: his wife Leisa Peake Oaks; his sons, Dustin Oaks (Deanna) and Hunter Mooney (Ariel); his grandchildren, Madison Oaks and Clara Mooney; and his brothers, Ronnie Oaks and Kenneth Oaks (Jane). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
