He was predeceased by: his parents, Welzia Arwood and Mae Adams Arwood; his wife Janie Pauley Arwood; and his siblings, Howard, Clarence, Carl Arwood, Betty "Marie" Arwood and Eloise Lafollette.
He is survived by: his daughter Lori McCoury (Roy) of Erwin; and his grandson Isaiah McCoury of Unicoi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home and Chapel (720 Ohio Ave, Erwin, TN 37650). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery (1100 7th St, Erwin, TN 37650).
