We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2025, James Leon Jones of Erwin, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Jones and Georgia Jones (Browning); his wife Peggy Powers Jones; and his siblings, Billie Combs, Marilyn Brewer, Conrad Jones, Beryl Jones, Darrell Jones, Marvin Jones and Larry Jones.
He is survived by: his daughter Trista Jones Simon; his grandchildren, Karizma Jones (Dalton Gregory), Koraleigh Simon and Kayson Simon; his sister Linda Jones Sands; and his stepchildren, Tim Shelton, Melissa Williams and Gail Barnett.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home (1085 N Main Ave, Erwin, TN 37650).
